The company has named Leo LaBranche as CEO. A former senior executive at Amazon Web Services, LaBranche spearheaded multiple global transformation and growth initiatives at the world’s largest cloud service provider, and so will now lead ventures in artificial intelligence and AI factories, cloud adoption, power generation & data center development, satellite connectivity, and robotics to support sustainable technology adoption of the world’s most influential family offices and the businesses they are responsible for.
UDG will serve as Unified State Group’s dedicated platform for accelerating technology-enabled growth in Africa, the Middle East, India, and Asia, along with power and energy projects in the US. Its focus includes delivering end-to-end digital modernization through AI, automation, and advanced infrastructure.

The group has also partnered with Dangote Industries in Africa, the Al-Futtaim family in the Middle East, and the Kimpka family in India to expand technology adoption, energy-efficient data infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing across key markets.
